This home stood at the foot of Sugar Loaf Mountain, in the Highlands, in Philipstown, near what is now Garrison, and was built about 1758 by Colonel Beverly Robinson when he and his wife, Susannah Philipse came here to make their home on their lands in the Philipse Patent.
