Photographic Gallery Storefront of Richard and Hannah Maynard, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The woman behind the horse is Hannah Maynard herself. The man at the door may be her long-time assistant A.S. Rappertie. He had a great mustache over the years. This image is in front of their dual storefronts on Douglas St., corner of Johnson St., which they occupied between 1874 and 1892.
